An Orthodox Jewish Tartuffe
My infatuation with Moliere mingles in the minds of the critics with Orthodox Judaism, as my performance was identified as a Tartuffian hommage. A dream has been realized.
The LA Weekly came out today with a saavy review of the show, hearkening to the age of Moliere, spiritual satire, and high comedy. Who knew the French and the Jews had so much in common? (I did!) Daniel Goldfarb = Jean Baptiste Poquelin Moliere.Yet another reason to come and get exposed to your contemporary classics!
